Tasting Notes

Deep, dark red in the glass. Blackberry, cherry, and plum, with hints of leather and black olive. Full bodied and warm from its time in oak, with a long, smooth finish.

Serve & Pair

Serve at 16 to 18°C (61 to 64°F). Open it 30 to 60 minutes before pouring. Made for hearty food, it pairs with roast lamb, grilled meats and sausages, game, stews with tomato and herbs, black olives, and aged cheeses.

Production: Temperature-controlled fermentation (about 2 weeks). Aged in steel, large wooden barrels, then in barriques, and finally in bottle.
