Tasting Notes

Clear to pale gold. Muscat grape and flowers on the nose, with honey, sour cherry, and a hint of spice. Strong and warming at 50%, with a round, gently sweet finish.

Serve & Pair

Serve ice cold, straight from the freezer, in a small glass. Sip it slowly after dinner, or with grilled meats, strong cheeses, and dried fruit.

Why We Chose It

Most raki is simply distilled grape but this one is finished with honey, sour cherry, and hawthorn, which rounds it out and gives it something to remember. It is named after Herta’s founder, and only 1,500 bottles are made.
