A skin contact white from Trevllazër, near Vlorë, made from Shesh i Bardhë grown on limestone tuff soils. Five weeks on the skins, a year on its lees, and no added sulfites.

Tasting Notes

Golden amber in the glass. Ripe stone fruit, dried herbs, and a salty edge on the nose. Textured and fresh, with a gentle grip and a long, mineral finish.

Serve & Pair

Serve at 13 to 14°C (55 to 57°F). Pairs with red meats and semi aged cheeses, or enjoy it on its own

Why We Chose It

Of our two orange wines, this is the fresher one. Balaj ages it in steel rather than amphorae, so the fruit stays bright, and the limestone soils of Trevllazër give it a clean finish.
