Tasting Notes

Deep, dark red in the glass. Black cherry and dark fruit on the nose. Plush and smooth on the palate, with a brightness that keeps it lively and a long finish.

Serve & Pair

Serve at 16 to 18°C (61 to 64°F), and open it 30 minutes before pouring. Pairs with roast lamb, grilled red meats, game, slow cooked stews, and aged cheeses.

Uka Wine

Uka Winery was founded in 2005 by Flori Uka, who trained in Friuli and Veneto and studied winemaking at Udine and Conegliano. He returned to Albania to work with nearly 200 small family growers of native grapes, with one goal: to show what Albania’s own varieties can really do.
